We are Mark and Jill Brazle, founders and leaders of Care & Conversation. After more than 40 years of serving as global workers in Canada, Belgium, Ohio, and Texas, we now mentor and support other global leaders to encourage and strengthen their outreach.
What we Do
Two Focus Areas
Our partnerships with The Conversation Group and Pioneer Bible Translators allow us to share what we’ve learned with others.
Along with our care for global workers, we’ve seen the great need to support those often forgotten behind the scenes: the parents of those sent. Sending your child into the field can often be a mixed bag of emotions. Everything from pride that they’re following God’s call, grief of their loved ones being far from home, to fear for their safety, to maybe even resentment of their child’s choice. So what can we do? We can create a safe space for these parents to share their experience with other parents in the same situation. We can encourage, train, and mentor. Our work with PBT includes everything from simple gestures in sending cards to hosting retreats for parents or administering a private Facebook support group (with more than 600 members!) Supporting parents of global leaders will in turn support the worker, allowing them to stay focused in their work as long as God has called them. Read more about why we focus on supporting parents >
If you’re in professional ministry or a position of leadership, you pour into and encourage others on a daily basis. But who pours into you? Who do you turn to when there’s a conflict, crisis, or lack of clarity? In essence, who mentors the mentors? That’s where we come in.
We are joining with The Conversation Group to mentor leaders to courageously transform their slice of God’s world. Through 1-to-1 conversations, cohorts, consultations, trainings, and retreats, we help leaders from around the world navigate the challenges they face.
As certified Prepare Enrich Facilitators, we have been working to prepare couples for marriage and enrich marriages for over 25 years. We are also certified in Grip-Birkman, a spiritual gifts and behavioral assessment tool that provides practical insights for individuals, teams, and organizations. We bring listening ears, open hearts, and thoughtful tools for change to each conversation. We are excited to join The Conversation Group to help navigate challenges through mentoring, collaborative design and friendship so that leaders can be more effective in their ministry or profession.
